Daily Heckle is looking for talented writers to join our team as we build a new sports media publication focused on satire and original storytelling.
We cover the biggest stories across professional and college sports, taking real events and turning them into original, entertaining satire. While our content is satirical, we hold our writing to a high standard.
We’re looking for writers who have a strong understanding of sports and can produce clean, engaging copy. Knowledge of AP style is required, along with strong grammar, editing, and storytelling skills.

Previous journalism or media experience is a plus, but we’re also interested in writers who are building their portfolios and want an opportunity to contribute to a growing publication.
Our goal is to create a sports satire outlet with the quality and professionalism of a traditional newsroom. We want our stories to be well-researched, well-written, and original, even when the premise is completely fictional.
